Alta Mar is a leading figure in African sustainable aquaculture, specializing in the export of premium marine species. The project is anchored by two main facilities: the marine cultivation site off the coast of Safi, Morocco, and the hatchery, processing and packaging plant located onshore, leveraging Morocco’s strategic geographical advantage for global distribution.
Our journey commenced 13 years ago, marked by the initiation of our first scientific program aimed at pioneering the production protocol for Atlantic Bluefin Tuna (ABFT). This endeavor laid the foundational stone of Alta Mar, embodying our dedication to innovation and sustainable aquaculture practices.
