Alta Mar Project Inaugurates Construction in Safi

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, the Alta Mar project officially inaugurated its construction site in Beddouza, Safi, marking a major milestone in the development of sustainable aquaculture in Morocco. The event was attended by key local and regional officials, including Lahoucine Chaynane, Governor of the Province of Safi, and Farid Chourak, Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region. Representatives from Marrakech Invest and local authorities also participated in the ceremony, celebrating this important step for the region.

This project is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at positioning Safi as a leader in sustainable seafood production, which will create significant economic opportunities and support environmental stewardship in the area.
